Natchez Trace District Patches 4 & 5
These two district patches were used in the early 1990s and camporee rockers / segments were issued to go along with these patches. The design is basically the same except the bottom portion of patch #5 is velcro. They scooted the fleur-de-lis up on patch #5 to not cover it up with the velcro. Another slight variation is that the pocket loop is made of heavier material on patch #5.
The 1991 Spring camporee rocker does not have velcro on the back, so it appears that it was designed to be sewn on below patch #4. However, the 1991 Fall Jamboree and 1992 Spring Camporee both have velcro on the back to be attached to patch #5.
Patch #4 was issued with both a cloth back and gauze back.
It is worth noting that the district also issued a 1992 Spring Camporee patch in addition to the rocker.
There may have been other Natchez Trace camporee strips in addition to the three shown here. If so, they are needs of mine. If you have any available, please e-mail me at [email protected].
